  5. The fast, professional Disk/CD cataloger and library manager for Windows.

  7. Installation:
  8. -------------
  9.     1)  Copy DLIB.EXE and DLIB.HLP to your directory of choice
  10.     2)  Create new group or switch to the group you want to put Disk Librarian in
  11.     2)  From File Manager, choose "File, New"
  12.     3)  Indicate "Program Item" when asked
  13.     4)  Type in the full path name or choose "Browse" to set-up
  14.

  17. An easy-to-learn, fast,  professional interface. 
  18. Catalogs CD-ROM disks.
  19. Built-in ZIP 2.x and Microsoft Compress (used on distribution disks) file decompression.
  20. Automatically captures filenames, comments and id-info from .ZIP files.
  21. Unzip all files or single files from zip files.
  22. View and unzip self-extract zip files!
  23. Quick searches by file name (* and ?), keywords, comments show results in separate window
  24. "Automatic" copy modes to insure most efficient diskette usage. Usually less 
  25.   than 1% disk wastage in automatic mode.

  46. Changes in Version 2.2:

  48. 1)  New feature: Custom printing of reports (with preview mode).
  49. 2)  New feature: Library Open and Save commands now show progress in status bar.
  50. 3)  Improved: CD cataloging procedures and messages.
  51. 3)  Fix: Library drop-down menu revised (eliminated duplicate hot-key).

  53. Changes in Version 2.1:

  55. 1)  "Volume, Refresh" menu command - Recatalog a Volume in order to get changes
  56.     made manually or by another program without losing existing comments/keywords, etc.
  57. 2)  Information is now automatically captured from .ZIP files.  The ZIP file main comments,
  58.     the "FILE_ID.DIZ" information, and the individual file comments are added
  59.     to the comments field.  The individual file names are added as keywords.
  60. 3)  A new "Options, Data" dialog box has been added to control the automatic data 
  61.     capture.
  62. 4)  Fix: A warning is now given before overwriting a file during Unzip.
